Director Mentor Information:

Director Mentor Informational Webinars are two-hour interactive online sessions during which participants learn about the following elements of the Director Mentor component of the California Early Childhood Mentor Program:
- Context of the Director Mentor component in the Mentor Program
- Purpose and goals of the program for ECE administrators
- Expectations of and benefits to Director Mentors
- Requirements to apply to become a Director Mentor and application procedures.
- How the Mentor Program uses the Program Administration Scale (Talan and Bloom, 2004) to select and re-certify Director Mentors (includes a copy of the book for every participant and a brief training on its use)
Current or former ECE Program administrators who qualify to become Director Mentors must participate in an Informational Webinar and subsequently a Director Mentor Institute in order to apply to the Program.
A $10 non-refundable registration fee covers meeting materials, which will be mailed to you in advance of the webinar. A certificate of completion will be mailed to you upon receipt of a completed survey about the webinar.
The Registration Form is a writeable, savable PDF, which means you can type right onto the form and save it on your computer to help you remember the details. You do, however, still need to print it and send it to us with a $10 non-refundable registration fee.

- If you attended a Director Mentor Information Session in a previous year, you do not need to participate in a webinar.
- Not sure? You would have received a certificate of completion.

- If you would like to participate in a webinar to refresh your memory, you may do so at no charge. However, a packet will not be sent to you. Instead, updated materials will be sent as email attachments.
- Upon successful completion, you will receive an invitation to the Director Mentor Institute.
- Director Mentor Institutes are by INVITATION ONLY.
