Students who have been recommended for Mentor Placement by practicum instructor will learn about the organization of the California Early Childhood Mentor Program. Topics addressed include: expectations, communication and grading.

Voices From The Field ($9.95)

Recorded at the 1994 Mentor Institute at Mills College, this 12-minute video is ideal for training teachers, centers, parents and program administrators. Content includes empowerment, advocacy and compensation.

 

All The Way With The Mentor Program! ($12.95)

This 25-minute video was developed to recruit early childhood students from underrepresented populations by highlighting the advantages of student teaching with Mentors. The video could also be used to introduce beginning and prospective students to the wide variety of training options. Comes with a presenter's guide. Both video and guide are in Spanish and English.
