Leadership Through Knowledge

From 2009-2011, Mentor Teachers engaged in an exciting leadership activity. Beginning with a discussion format for their monthly Mentor Seminars, they tapped into their education, experience, and wisdom to provide information and insight to Mentor Program staff. Together, we created important ECE policy recommendations based on the characteristics of high quality teachers that should guide recruitment, education, and assessment of the ECE workforce.
